Join United Way of Greater Portland at the Westbrook Community Center from 9am-11am on Friday, October 27 to find out more about volunteering as a reader and learn simple tips and techniques to help kids learn to read.
Once trained, volunteers are encouraged to serve as readers on a regular basis with students at Westbrook elementary schools and/or join us for several special literacy events throughout the year.
