Over 200 people gathered at the UNITED We Thrive Award Luncheon on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 to celebrate and recognize the triumphs of organizations and individuals committed to help our community thrive through their work in United Way’s focus areas of education, financial stability, & health.
On May 23rd, members of United Way of Greater Portland’s Tocqueville Society and Brick and Beam Society gathered at the Maine Historical Society. Elaine Rosen (Chair of the Board of Assurant, Inc., Chair of the Board of The Kresge Foundation, former President of Unum, and former United Way of Greater Portland Campaign Chair) shared powerful words on the importance of philanthropy, mentorship, and developing community leaders.
