28,500 MEALS DONATED AT 2019 UNITED WE CAN EVENT

On September 13, United Way of Greater Portland’s United We CAN food drive resulted in enough food to provide 28,500 meals—breaking the record for Maine’s largest one-day food drive for the third year in a row.

28,163 MEALS DONATED AT 2018 CAMPAIGN KICK OFF

On September 14, Greater Portland delivered enough food for 28,163 meals and broke last year’s record for Cumberland County’s largest one-day food drive (16,428 donated in 2017). United Way of Greater Portland kicked off its 2018 Campaign with the third annual United We CAN event in Monument Square, featuring can sculptures built by sixteen teams:

On September 15, Greater Portland delivered enough food for 16,428 meals and set another new record for Cumberland County’s largest one-day food drive. United Way of Greater Portland kicked off its 2017 Campaign with the second annual United We CAN event in Monument Square, featuring can sculptures built by twelve teams.
