Volunteer to Support Families at the Expo Shelter

Portland has received more than 150 asylum seekers over the past few days (who started their journey from several African countries, traveled through South America, and entered through the Southern US Border). They are not yet eligible for state and federal aid. Portland family shelters have exceeded capacity. Please use this form to express interest in volunteering at the City’s temporary shelter.

The Health and Human Services Committee is expected to vote TODAY whether to fund programs that prevent child abuse. The Community Partnership for Protecting Children (CPPC) is a network of community providers and residents who are working to eliminate child abuse and neglect.
