The following financial stability resources have been compiled to support economic and recovery efforts related to COVID-19 coronavirus. Though not exhaustive, we hope they provide a start from which to find and access local services and information.

MaineHousing (Statewide organization providing affordable home ownership and rental housing opportunities and a state-funded rent relief program, as well as administering federal programs related to housing)

Portland Housing Authority (People receiving rental assistance through the Portland Housing Authority should report any changes in employment to their housing officer by calling 207–773–4753. PHA is not open to the public but has a drop-box at their entrance)

Economic Impact Payments
Internal Revenue Service (The IRS is issuing Economic Impact Payments. Find out if you are eligible or if you need to do anything in order to receive payment by visiting the IRS website.)
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (The FDIC has created a page to help consumers get the information they need to receive economic impact payments electronically, including a tool to help people find FDIC-insured banks where an account can be opened online.)
