United Way Southern Maine’s Fall Public Policy Update
United Way of Southern Maine wants every eligible voter to have the opportunity to cast your ballot. It’s a great way to let your voice be heard and drive positive change in Maine!
Below are tools you can use to prepare for the upcoming election, including links to register to vote and request an absentee ballot, plus answers to frequently asked questions about the election process.
Voting Resources
- The State of Maine Voter Guide has a number of important resources, including:
- Voter Registration guide;
- Local voting information;
- Information on Absentee Voting in Maine, with links to the online Maine Absentee Ballot Request form, and more. Note that absentee ballots must be returned to your municipal clerk by 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
- The ACLU Maine Know Your Voting Rights page is an essential resource for those who are unsure about whether they can vote.
- Disability Rights Maine’s Voting Access website has information about access to polling places, registering to vote, and casting a ballot.
