We invite you to attend to learn more about advocacy and public policy.
Participants will learn more about why advocacy advances United Way’s mission and about the tools to advocate on policy issues. We will examine two current policy issues around which UWGP is engaged: SNAP and the higher education bonds on the November ballot.
The training will be co-facilitated by Ronald Jarrett, Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at United Way of Greater Portland and Megan Tracz, M.P.A., Director of Public Policy and Advocacy at United Way Worldwide.
