DIRECTING YOUR DOLLARS

General donations to United Way of Southern Maine are directed to the Community Impact Fund, which invests your donations where it will be most impactful. You also have the option to direct your donation to one of the below targeted impact funds.

  • Community Impact Fund: Direct your dollars where it will make the most impact today.
  • Early Care and After School Fund: Supports strategies that give children a strong foundation, setting them on a course to reach their potential.
  • Economic Recovery Fund: Supports strategies that provide opportunities for jobs and careers with economic mobility and access to affordable neighborhoods.
  • Healthy Community Fund: Supports proven strategies focused on mental health services and recovery from substance use.
  • York County Fund: Direct your dollars where it will make the most impact in York Country.
  • Racial Equity Fund: Supports organizations led by and serving people of color as they address the work of Thrive2027 and the racial disparities in our community.
