United for Southern Maine |
United We CAN marks the kickoff of our 2023 Community Campaign! This annual fundraising campaign brings together more than 300 organizations and thousands of individuals around a shared purpose: to create a community where everyone can thrive.
We all know Southern Maine is a great place to live and work, but persistent community challenges are holding our neighbors back from achieving financial stability and leading healthy lives.
We cannot address challenges like food insecurity, housing instability, child literacy, mental health, and substance use disorder alone. But, when our community comes together, we can find solutions to long-standing issues.
We are stronger together. We are Southern Maine. We are United. |
2023 Community Campaign Chairs |
We are excited to have Esi Seng lead the way as our 2023 Campaign Chair. Esi is CEO of Tate’s Bake Shop and has served on our Board of Directors since 2021. We are grateful for her leadership, generosity, and dedication to our community. Esi is joined by 2023 Campaign Vice Chair, Steve Smith, President and CEO of L.L.Bean, a longtime United Way supporter and volunteer. |
Meet our 2023 Loaned Executives |
Meet our 2023 Loaned Executives (LEs)! The Loaned Executive Program offers local leaders a unique leadership development opportunity while supporting United Way’s campaign. Thank you to the organizations lending us these amazing individuals for nine weeks!
