So, what can you expect next week?

DAILY REMINDERS

We have a lot planned, so we wanted to provide you with quick, daily updates. Each morning next week, we will start the day with a Watch, Do, Learn More email—highlighting the day’s events and providing quick links to join.

We invite you to tune in and drive-up where and when works for you and your family, organization, or teams!

WEEK AT A GLANCE

Monday through Thursday at 9 a.m., we will have “live” rallies on Facebook with staff and the Loaned Executive team who will showcase tools and send us off on our day excited and ready to roll!

Join us at 10 a.m. on Facebook for a Virtual Volunteer Live Stream from Wolfe’s Neck Farm: Woolly World of Virtual Volunteer Video Making – With Andrew + Karen.

Our Brick & Beam Society will host a My Cup, My Cause, where you can discuss what fills your cup….literally and figuratively. All attendees will receive a code for the purchase of a hot beverage courtesy of Aroma Joe’s for attending. Let us buy the next cup! Click here to RSVP.

Calling all United Way Employee Campaign Managers! Join us for a happy hour call at 4 p.m. where you can connect while chatting about your campaigns – what’s working and what support you may still need. Click here to RSVP.

Join us at noon for a closer look at the struggles and opportunities in Greater Portland. This experiential, virtual exhibit, made possible by VIA and Baby Lion Media, will give you a glimpse into the hardships of people living in Greater Portland.

Later that day at 4 p.m., we will host a Racial Equity Panel focused on inequities in the education to workforce systems. Click here to learn more and RSVP.

Join us for our first DRIVE-THRU Food Drive at Wayside at 135 Walton Street, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. COVID-19 has exacerbated food insecurity in Greater Portland, and food has always been important to the health and well-being of individuals, especially children. If children are not well-nourished, they can’t learn; if they can’t learn, they certainly can’t thrive.

Thank you for UNITING for our community.

To kick it off early, make sure to RSVP, put calendar reminders on, and/or head to our Facebook page to sign up and bookmark.

We need YOU now more than ever.
